MAASAI

Maasai is a 2021 colt, scheduled for collection and gelding this fall. He is exceptionally well bred, demonstrating strong polo genetics on both the top and bottom lines. Maasai took naturally to starting under saddle and adapting to the polo field, showcasing his innate talent.

Standing at an ideal 15.1 hands high, he features a compact back, excellent hip and shoulder conformation, and a well-set neck. He moves with an uphill, balanced frame and exhibits precise foot placement in every maneuver and seamless stops on his hind end.

We have great admiration for Maasai and hold high expectations for his future. He shares a similar pedigree with Caiman and Mars, both of whom advanced to high-goal polo, and we anticipate he will follow in their footsteps.

Maasai has a very sensitive mouth and currently responds best to a Happy Mouth gag bit. Raising him has been a pleasure, and we are proud to offer Maasai for sale and at stud. Frozen semen straws are available this fall alongside the colt himself.
